Established in 2015 and strategically nestled in Foshan City, Guangdong—the silicon valley of aluminum extrusion processing in China—LvXing Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. has grown to become an engineering powerhouse in continuous hinge systems and industrial aluminum profiles.
We leverage premium Fenglu aluminum profiles to craft state-of-the-art continuous geared and Centaflex-type flexible joints. Our production footprint features massive machinery configuration, with custom extrusion lines spanning from 800T to a colossal 20,000T force capacity. This enables us to extrude highly complex geometries, achieving cross-sectional profiles up to 1.2 meters wide and individual profile lengths stretching up to 28 meters.
Traditional pin-hinges create concentrated stress fields at specific attachment points, accelerating structural fatigue in aluminum or glass-fiber panels. By contrast, a Centaflex continuous hinge or geared continuous hinge distributes loads evenly along the entire height of the door, framing, or dynamic joint.
A true Centaflex system relies on a central, flexible elastomeric membrane nestled within high-strength aluminum channel extrusions. This provides outstanding mechanical advantages:
We are authorized holders of the "Special Aluminium Materials for Aerospace" Certificate. This guarantees metallurgical integrity, zero internal voids, and strict dimensional tolerances for flight-grade components.
By leveraging Fenglu premium billets on our extrusion lines (ranging up to 20,000T), we process widths up to 1.2m and continuous lengths up to 28m across complex 6xxx and high-strength 7xxx alloys.
Our dedicated engineering team translates client concepts into optimized manufacturing models. We identify potential issues early in the design phase to deliver tailored structural components that match precise loads.
Centaflex and continuous geared aluminum hinges are not simple hardware components; they are core structural components critical to safety, longevity, and aesthetics across various global sectors.
Used in interior utility bays, lightweight storage modules, and protective instrumentation panel covers where weight control, structural integrity, and resistance to high-frequency vibration are paramount.
Continuous hinges ensure stable structural integrity for vehicle side doors, heavy utility toolboxes, ramps, and external access hatches on RVs, fire trucks, and armored transport units, resisting intense road vibration.
Installed in hospitals, public transit hubs, and schools. Geared continuous hinges eliminate pinch points, resolve safety hazards, and protect heavy-traffic doors from sagging or wearing down under heavy physical loads.
At Lvxing, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all hardware. Our technical consulting process guides the selection of the correct temper and alloy chemistry to match the project's exact environments:
Through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and cycle-testing rigs, we customize leaf thickness, gearing structures, and gap alignments to ensure your hinges outperform standard OEM components.
As manufacturing demands evolve toward lighter, stronger, and more integrated systems, our R&D roadmap focuses on three main pillars:
Integrating miniature sensors directly into the hinge gears to measure door load cycles, alignment changes, and wear patterns. This allows heavy machinery operators to schedule predictive maintenance before a component fails.
Developing elastomeric cores using bio-based, recyclable polymers that deliver the same durability and ozone resistance as standard TPU, supporting the shift toward greener industrial manufacturing.
Leveraging our 20,000T press to produce complex profiles with ultra-thin walls (under 1.5mm) using high-tensile 7xxx alloys, reducing weight while maintaining critical structural strength for electric vehicle structures.
Centaflex hinges feature a flexible elastomeric membrane instead of moving metal-on-metal parts. This design eliminates mechanical wear, squeaks, and lubrication requirements while providing a continuous weather seal. They are ideal for lightweight applications up to moderate load limits, whereas geared continuous hinges are preferred for heavy-duty structural doors.
We work with 1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx series alloys. For most structural and architectural geared hinges, we recommend 6063-T6 or 6005A-T6 due to their excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and post-extrusion anodizing capabilities. For aerospace applications, we also extrude high-strength 7075-T6 profiles.
MOQs depend on the size of the profile and the extrusion line required (from 800T up to 20,000T). Standard architectural hinge profiles typically start at 500 kg to 1 ton per production run. Please contact our engineering sales department for project-specific calculations.
Yes, all our continuous geared hinges are manufactured under our certified GB/T19001-2016 / ISO9001:2015 quality management system. We also offer options with full CE certification to guarantee compliance with European building, structural safety, and environmental standards.
We offer clear anodizing, color anodizing (bronze, black, gold), electrocoating, powder coating in standard RAL colors, and fluorocarbon (PVDF) coatings for maximum resistance to UV rays and salt spray in marine environments.
Consult with our engineers to design, simulate, and manufacture your heavy-duty geared or Centaflex continuous hinge profiles using China's top-tier extrusion technology.
